Sustainable from the beginning and at the heart of our Resort
Our vision was to create a resort that is both sustainable and eco-friendly whilst still providing a luxury experience for our guests. Setting a new innovative and inspiring direction for local hospitality in Hoi An and this region.
Sustainability has always been at the heart of the construction of Anmira Resort & Spa renovating one of the first resorts of Hoi An (Hoi An Trails) - the key concept being to complement the existing natural environment.
Following the 1930s Indochina interior style; a mix of Asian and French romance, rooms were either restored with the original antique furniture, whilst others have been completely renewed. 90 % of furniture used in the resort is natural wood rather than manmade options such as chipboard/frameboard which use formaldehyde (HCHO) known to cause air pollution. With a little love, many of our pieces of furniture have been given a second life by re-using & up-cycling! In addition, the resort is also equipped with solar water heaters on the roof to save energy.
We have carefully selected flora and fauna creating the enchanting tropical feel of the Anmira Resort, in keeping with the local surroundings and in line with the Government's Environment Plan. Our lush gardens are home to beautiful frangipani trees, some of which are over 100 years old. The organic Anmira Herb & Spice Garden is full of fragrant herbs such as rosemary, lemongrass, peppermint, Thai basil, coriander, chillies for use in both our kitchens and our spa.
At Anmira Resort Hoi An we will minimise our impact on the environment whilst supporting the local community.
